The three year full time Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration shall be governed by department of Business administration, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.

The program structure:- 

The bachelor of Business administration (BBA) is divided into three part as under. Each part will consist of two semesters. Each Paper Consist 6 Paper.

(A) First Year

• Semester 1

• Semester 2

(B) Second Year

• Semester 3

• Semester 4

(C) Third Year

• Semester 5

• Semester 6

(A) First Year:- First year exam shall consist of two semesters. Semester 1 and Semester 2. The schedule of the paper during the 1st year of the programme shall be as follows:-

• Semester 1

(a) Principal of Management

(b) Basic of trade Industries and Commerce (c) Financial Accounting

(d) Business Economics 

(e) Fundamental of Computer 

(f) Business communication

• Semester 2

(a) Micro Economics

(b) Organisational Behaviour

(c) Cost Accounting Business Statistics

(d) Computer application in Management (e) Viva - voce

(B) Second Year :- The Schedule of 2nd year examination shall comprise of two semesters. Schedule 3rd and schedule 4rth. The schedule of the paper during the 2nd year of the programme shall be as follows:-

• Semester 3

(a) Business ethics and Corporate Governance

(b) Business Environment 

(c) Financial Management

(d) Marketing Management 

(e) Human Resource Management

(f) Business laws

• Semester 4

(a) Element of Entrepreneurship

(b) Management Accounting

(c) Research Methodology 

(d) Banking Operations management

(e) Income Tax laws and Account

(e) Viva - voce

Summer Training :- at the completion of first 4th semester of the first and second year the student is required to undergo on the job practical training in any manufacturing service financial organization. The training will be of six weeks duration. The student after the completion of training will submit a report by the end of March during 6 month semester which will be evaluate as a part of Sixth semester examination. The report will be evaluated by a panel of to experts (One external and one internal) out of 100 marks divided into retain off 50 marks and viva - voce of 50 marks.

(C) Third Year :- The Schedule of 3rd year examination shall comprise of two semesters. Schedule 5th and schedule 6th. 

Elective Groups (For Semester 6)

(a) A Students will have to select any of the following three groups i.e

Elective 1 :- Marketing

Elective 2 :- Finance

Electric 3 :- Human Resource Management

(b) Each group will comprise of four papers.

The schedule of the paper during the 3rd year of the programme shall be as follows:-

• Semester 5

(a) Strategic Management

(b) Management Information System

(c) Project Management

(d) E-commerce

(e) Insurance and Risk management

(f) Auditing

• Semester 6 

(a) Production and Operations Management

(b) Viva - Voce (Based on Summer Tranning report)

Any of the following Elective Groups ...

Elective 1 :- Marketing

Elective 3 :- Human Resource Management

Viva - Voce carrying hundred marks shall be based on project submitted by 3rd year students. Project evaluation Shall made by panel of two examiner one external and one internal at the end of 6th semester out of 100 Marks. 50 marks shall be evaluation of project and 50 marks shall be for Viva - Voce.
